My Thought for today:

A Heart That Has Been Broken

A heart that has been broken is a heart that has truly been loved. Some wounds do not fully heal.

They linger quietly beneath the surface, carrying a sorrow that time itself can not entirely erase. The pain remains deeply real.

And strange though it may seem, few things wound the soul more sharply
than the memory of your smile — for now, it lives only in remembrance. I miss your laughter, the warmth that rested gently in your eyes, the playful teasing that once transformed ordinary moments into sacred ones.

To move forward is no simple task when the one you love has passed beyond the veil before you. Grief carries a loneliness that language often fails to contain.

At times, I find myself wondering how life continues at all when the person who made it feel whole is no longer standing beside me. Yet when I search my heart honestly,
it is not a grand occasion I miss most, nor long conversations or extraordinary days. It is something far simpler: just being near you.

There were moments when your presence alone was enough to steady my soul. No words were necessary.
No answers needed to be found. Simply sitting beside you made the world feel right again.

Perhaps that is why grief cuts so deeply. Love had woven itself into the quiet rhythm of everyday life, and now the silence left behind echoes through everything.
