Alive Again

Yesterday, the light was dim,
Lost in shadows, bound within.
I wandered deep in doubt’s embrace,
blinded to mercy, void of grace.

Then today—He came to me,
My Lord, my Savior, my Redeemer, and set me free. His voice was bright, His love was true, a guiding hand, a path made new.

Suddenly, I breathed once more,
Alive again, my soul restored.
He spoke of infinite mercy, vast and wide,
Of burdens lifted, pain denied.

His love unchained my weary heart,
Tore the walls that kept me apart.
Now love is all I seek to give,
Through Him I serve, through Him I live.

Each morning now, I kneel and pray,
To walk His path, to follow His way.
For every fault, for sins concealed,
I turn to Him—my wounds are healed.

Day by day, His hand I hold,
A love eternal, rich as gold.
No longer lost, no longer chained,
Alive again, by grace, reclaimed.
