To see a need and rise to give,
To serve with joy, to help one live,
To offer kindness, strong yet true— This is love’s language, spoken through.
To lift the weary, heal their pain,
To break the bonds, remove the chain,
To mend what’s broken, calm what’s frayed— This is the love through service laid.
To still the storm when tempers flare,
To bring peace, the strife repair,
To turn from anger, walk away— This is love’s language, strong yet sway.
To teach the children, young and old,
Of Christ, His mercy, grace untold,
To share His truth, His path so bright—
This is love’s language, bathed in light.
It starts with faith, with hearts sincere,
With love for God, His presence near.
With minds and strength aligned above—
This is the language born of love.
And as we love our neighbors well,
In word and deed, their sorrows quell,
In every act that lifts them high— This is the love that testifies.
Let love be spoken far and wide,
In every land, in hearts abide.
For when we love as He loves us,
We speak the language—pure and just.
