Christmas, a Day of Grace, Wonderment, and Hope

Christmas, a day of grace, wonderment, and hope; the birth of our Savior, which we celebrate on December 25th.

Our celebrations usually start the day after Thanksgiving with the gathering of gifts to give to loved ones, neighbors, friends, and strangers.

Many of us attend parties with those we work with or associate with. We gather for tradition, for making memories, and for deepening relationships with those we know or are just starting to know.

We visit with family, friends, and neighbors. We drop off gifts of sweet treats either by handing them over personally or anonymously.

Stores bustle with individuals finding the right gift. Along with this, we begin to plan and prepare for the perfect feast.

In all the hustle and bustle of the season, let’s not forget the One who came. He taught us to love God with all our heart, mind, and might, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. He then suffered and atoned for our sins.

His name is called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Our Lord, Our Savior, Our Redeemer, He is Jesus Christ.

As we celebrate His birth this season, let us remember to share our Savior’s love throughout the year with everyone we meet. Have a very Merry Christmas.
