In the world today, there is an increase in crime, corruption, falsehoods, the rejection of a higher power, and selfcenterness. In a short and concise explanation of Evil: Evil is the opposite of ‘Good’.
How can we know the difference between ‘Good’ and ‘Evil’? Through the Spirit of Christ, or the light of Christ. With the ‘light of Christ’, we can judge the difference.
As we seek, we will see that everything that invites us to do good and persuades to believe in Christ is sent by the power and gift of Christ. This way, we may know that with a perfect knowledge, it is of God.
However, the opposite is true. When people, advertisers, organizations, or our own thoughts try to persuade us not to believe in Christ, deny him, and not serve God, we may know with a perfect knowledge it is of the Devil. And the Devil persuades us not to do good, not to pray, not to obey God, neither do his angles; neither do they who subject themselves to him.
Given this, we should know how to judge, which is through the spirit of Christ. However, let’s make sure we do not judge wrongfully; for with the same judgment which we judge, we will be judged.
To ensure our judgements are correct, take them to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in prayer seeking his guidance. With his guidance, our judgments will then lead us towards Christ.
