Thoughts to think about

This is a thing I’ve never known before
It’s called a peaceful conscience.
This is a thing I’ve never felt before
It’s called the companionship of the Holy Spirit

I‘m traveling a road that’s straight and narrow.
It’s called making and keeping covenants
This is a place I’ve never believed possible til
I sought forgiveness and was forgiven.
Since Jesus has taken his place in my heart.

Somewhere along the road, much traveled
I was seeking and searching for Jesus Christ
Day after day, on that windy road
I couldn’t see or hear him.

Seeking, searching, and wishing my whole life away. Dreaming, thinking, and ready for happy ways and a peaceful conscience.

Since Jesus took his place in my heart.
Making and keeping covenants to keep Jesus Christ in my heart
Seeking and searching for guidance from Jesus Christ throughout my life.
