There’s a drought of the knowledge of God and his dealing with us in the majority of the world. Everyone is seeking some sort of happiness, joy, or pleasure. Yet, the majority of these are still unhappy, joyless, or in some sort distress.
I went to see what a few of the people I admire thought about involving God in their lives, then I went to those I believe are the experts on this topic.
George Harrison’s last message at his death in 2001 was: “Everything else can wait, but the search for God can not wait, and love one another.”
Mother Teresa said: “My secret is simple — I pray.” And “God doesn’t require that we be successful, only that we be faithful”
Bob Marely once said: “I don’t stand for black man’s side, I don’t stand for white man’s side, I stand for God’s side.”
C.S. Lewis is quoted as saying: “We may ignore, but we can nowhere evade the presence of God. The world is crowded with Him. He walks everywhere incognito.”
Russell M. Nelson said:”With the help of two Hebrew scholars, I learned that one of the Hebraic meanings of the word Israel is “let God prevail.” Thus the very name of Israel refers to a person who is willing to let God prevail in his or her life.”
Dieter F. Uchtdorf said: “The message was that God lived and cared about us, even in these hours of turmoil, confusion, and chaos. That He actually appeared in our time to restore truth and light—His gospel and his church
Taniela B. Waikoloa said: “Remember, God is merciful; therefore, repent”
You involve God in your life by searching for him in the scriptures, pondering, and praying often throughout the day:
By standing with God, he will stand by you:
Learn of his plan for you, and keep his commandments, and you will feel his presence:
Learn that God is a loving God and knows who you are and loves and cares for you:
Feel his love as you learn that he will forgive you as you repent of your offenses:
So, learn of God and let him prevail in your life.
