Enos, a young adult, was out hunting in the forest when his thoughts were turned to his just and devout father. During his ruminatings, his thoughts focused on his father’s teachings about eternal life and the joy of saints.
Upon recalling these teachings, Enos soul was stirred up to a profound spiritual hunger within himself. Prompting him to kneel in prayer to God for the salvation of his soul. His prayer lasted throughout the day and into the night when he heard the voice of God assuring him that his sins were forgiven due to his faith in Christ, the Savior, and Redeemer of the world. Of which he had not herd or seen.
This communication swept away Enos’ guilt, affirming that his faith had made him whole. He continued to pray. He prayed for his family, his friends, for all his people, and then for those who were opposed to his people.
God responded by telling about the blessing he would bestow upon each of them according to their faith. Due to his faith in God, Enos received answers to his pleadings and concerns.
We can, as Enos, turn to Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior, and our Redeemer, with our struggles and concerns both physically and spiritually? Our faith is shown to God, as we turn to Jesus Christ through prayer, acts of kindness, and showing compassion to all those around us.
