Thoughts to think about

I desire to seek God’s help in finding greater peace  and to live with less conflict in my life. My aspiration is to live more harmoniously with others, though the love of Christ. I desire to be more humble, to have more peace, to enjoy purity of thought, to be more honest with others, to avoid envying, and to embrace more compassion for others.

I know I have flaws, and I know I have many that I need to seek for God’s guidance to see and improve.
I need daily repentance of my sins that I may avoid ruin due to my iniquities. I wish to experience the joy of repentance and to know that heaven is celebrating as I repent.

I believe peace comes from living according to Jesus Christ’s teachings through repentance, forgiveness, service, and prayer. May I remember our Savior’s atonement and his sacrifice. I know as I draw closer to Christ that he will draw closer to me.

I need to overcome evil with good by showing kindness to those who have done wrong towards me.  I seek strength from God to resist temptation and to forgive those who offend me by treating all with Christ-like love. I also seek the ability to forgive others and myself fully.

I need to start drawing closer to him.
